Electrode Configuration

Simple or complex

Most units come with 2 channels; Channel A and Channel B.

Usually the intensities of each channel is controlled independently, but other settings like the Mode, Rate, or Feel are identical.

Each Channel has two leads, a hot and a ground, aka positive/negative, red/black, yellow/black.

The simplest set up is a single channel with two uni-polar electrodes.  These can be loops,  TENS pads, or inserted probe (anal).

Alternatively, you can have a single channel with both leads connected to a bi-polar electrode.  These are usually inserted probes or clamps with two isolated leads.  I have seen bi-polar nipple clamps, but I am never interested in using any estim above the waist.  I have used a bipolar anal plug.

All bi-polar electrodes can also be used as a uni-polar electrode just by combining the leads together.

So, a typical set up can be Channel A with two uni-polar loops on your cock, and channel B with a bi-polar probe in your ass.

Another alternative is a tri-phasic setup.  The grounds from both Channel A and B are combined into a common ground, and then the two hot leads are attached to two uni-polar electrodes.

As an example, I use one large TENS pad between my balls and anus (along the underside of my prostate) that acts as a common ground, and then channel A hot to a loop just under the glands (head), and channel B hot to a loop at the base of the shaft.

Have fun and keep experimenting with setups and different types of electrodes.  Eventually, you will find what works for you.
